We’re now halfway through the second month of 2026, with the Naracoorte and Lock Cups behind us, and the Kangaroo Island and Port Lincoln Cups still to come. 

Wednesday at Gawler:

Starting the racing week strong, Stuart Padman took Races One and Two by over two lengths, with Rochelle Milnes giving a 2.72 length win for Joviale, and Kayla Crowther pushing forward to secure a 2.54 length win for Torrita.

Mick Huxtable kept the Murray Bridge pride in Race Three, with Dazelles taking a 1.98 length win with Rochelle Milnes taking her second win in three races.

Another fantastic result came in Race Five, with Garret Lynch leading a Murray Bridge Trifecta, Lumber Dream and Sairyn Fawke guiding Stuart Padman’s Morlaix, only 1.77 lengths behind, with Rochelle Milnes donning the Red and Yellow once again. Matthew Seyers trained Think Tank, with Todd Pannell saddling his Third Place only 2 lengths behind Morlaix.

Friday at Clare:

Andrew Clarken went into the weekend strong with Crown And Anchor, a horse who continues it’s 100% place rate at Clare, with Ashvin Goindasamy taking a 0.85 length lead over Hotch Potch, trained by Sarah Rutten and ridden by Teagan Voorham.

Morphettville Parks on Saturday:

Race Two on Saturday had Coorong Tycoon fight for a 0.05 length win for Dan Clarken & Oopy MacGillivray, with Campbell Rawiller pushing ahead of The True Believer, trained by Grant Young and ridden by Will Price.
