It was another outstanding week for Murray Bridge trainers, with winners recorded across Gawler, Hawker Cup Day, and Morphettville. Dominant victories, feature race success, and a host of placings once again highlighted the strength and depth of the Murray Bridge training ranks.

Gawler on Wednesday:

Michael Hickmott got the week off to a flying start in Race One as Lynch, ridden by Todd Pannell, produced a dominant performance to score by 4.02 lengths.

Race Three saw Hannah Bryce claim victory with Live Forever, partnered by Jason Holder. Michael Hickmott’s Platino ran a strong race to finish second under Todd Pannell, just 0.89 lengths from the winner, while Nicole Irwin’s Mr Vexatious, ridden by Stacey Metcalfe, filled third place, 2.2 lengths behind.

Dan Clarken & Oopy MacGillivray added another winner to their season in Race Four when Think Lu Bella, ridden by Tala Hutchinson, scored impressively by 2.68 lengths.

John Hickmott & Carrina Riggs were successful in Race Five as France’s Boy, partnered by Brooke King, fought on strongly to win by 0.78 lengths.

Sophie Logan rounded out the Murray Bridge winners at Gawler in Race Seven with Prince Kuro, ridden by Ashvin Goindasamy, recording a commanding 4.31-length victory.

Hawker Cup Day on Saturday:

Garret Lynch enjoyed a memorable day in the Far North, preparing a winning double including the feature event.

Lady Memphis, ridden by Stacey Metcalfe, was a standout winner in Race Three, producing the most dominant performance of the week with a remarkable 9.65-length victory.

Lynch and Metcalfe combined again in the Hawker Cup, with Carashan Chloe taking out the feature race by 2.79 lengths to complete a memorable double for the stable.

Morphettville on Saturday:

Metropolitan racing at Morphettville saw Darryl Hewitt strike in Race Three as Sir Now, ridden by Alysha Warren, scored by 1.67 lengths.

Jessica Tzaferis continued her strong season in Race Four when Our Sassy Lady, partnered by Teagan Voorham, powered home for an impressive 3.12-length victory.

Race Eight provided another strong showing from Murray Bridge trainers, with Sue & Jason Jaensch’s Royal Sway, ridden by Todd Pannell, claiming victory. Dan Clarken & Oopy MacGillivray’s Orlova, partnered by Tala Hutchinson, finished a close second, just 0.55 lengths from the winner.
